Background Ban Had Pha Khon Homestay
Ban Had Pha Khon is nearly 100 years old. The villagers settled here to do farming and gardening near the Nan River banks due to rich water sources and a fertile land. People from other villages moved into the area and joined in the resource preservation activities. This attracted tourists and students to come to study and do research on the village. Thus, the village chief held a meeting with his villagers to persuade them to draw income to the village by taking visitors into their homes for lodging. The homestay members have increased as the number of tourists have increased.
