Ban Mae Toe is an Akha village of immigrants from Burma who came to settle at Doi Sam Sao
foothill 50 years ago. The mountain (doi) is the Mae Salong River source. Tourists can enjoy the ethnic art and culture of the Akhas along with the beautiful natural surroundings of the high hills and the scenery of Yon, a town in Burma. Relax in the local atmosphere and be opened to the original culture of the ethnic Akha ethnic. Ban Mae Toe has set up their homestay as another tourist point.
