Ban Cha Bu Si Homestay Background

Ban Cha Bu Si is a Red Musoe or Lahu village. This over 100-year-old village has 30 households. It was originally named “Ban Cha Kha Tor” after the first founder who later moved elsewhere so Cha Bu Si, the new leader, renamed the village after his own name. The villagers’ beliefs are based on their ancestors’ religion. Most of them make a living on rice, corn, animal raising and other labor work. To earn extra income for the tribe’s members they joined together and set up this homestay to host tourists.
